Megh athletics championship concludes

Level Competition in athletics for participation in the North East Games was organised by the Meghalaya Athletics Association on March 29 at the Cricket Ground, Polo.

In all, 180 athletes from across Meghalaya took part.

The results according to the MAA:

Men’s 100m – 1st Padam Chetri, 2nd Deepak Chetri, 3 Ebormi Dkhar

Men’s 200m – 1st Willing Momin, 2nd Padam Chetri, 3rd Ebortre Dkhar

Men’s 400m – 1st Sebastian Narlong, 2nd Wolphang Syngkli, 3rd Shanbor Mallang

Men’s 800m – 1st Precious Nongthliew, 2nd Phanbor Kurbah, 3rd Dawanlang Laloo

Men’s 1500m – 1st Tommy Shylla, 2nd Batsingstar K Jahrin, 3rd Kitbok Dkhar

Men’s 5000m – 1st Synshar Wahlang, 2nd Kynpham Swer, 3rd Mikhelson Ramsiej

Men’s 10000m – 1st Jomingstar Ramsiej, 2nd Stalin Jyrwa, 3rd Dising Phawa

Women’s 100m – 1st Jasmine Rymbai, 2nd Rosina Ch Momin, 3rd Algina Nongsiej

Women’s 200m – 1st Esalanmidaka Laloo, 2nd Rosina Ch Momin, 3rd Nosimeh Marak

Women’s 1500m – 1st Evamary Ramsiej, 2nd Dakahi Kyndeit, 3rd Solnaki Wanniang

Women’s 5000m – 1st Laenbok Ramsiej, 2nd Marwikiru Shylla, 3rd Priskille Ngaite

Women’s 10000m – 1st Kyntimon Marwein
