Second Division I-League
SHILLONG: Royal Wahingdoh will open the second leg of the final round of the Second Division I-League with a match against Hindustan FC on Thursday in Aizawl at 3:30pm.
Wahingdoh had an ordinary first leg, neither setting the tournament on fire nor failing miserably.
Instead, they won one match and drew another three to end the first leg in Silchar on six points from four outings.
They trail Bhawanipore FC by four points and lead Hindustan by two.
Kalighat Milan Sangha (4) and United Sikkim (3) follow in fourth and fifth place, respectively.
The Royals drew 0-0 with Hindustan in their first match and need a more positive result this time around.
One positive, however, is that Wahingdoh are still yet to taste defeat in the Second Division, either in Silchar or in Dhanbad, Jharkhand, where they played the preliminary round.
Wahingdoh fixtures:
Apr 3 vs Hindustan FC at 3:30pm; Apr 5 vs United Sikkim at 6:30pm; Apr 9 vs Kalighat Milan Sangha at 6:30pm; Apr 11 vs Bhawanipore FC at 6:30pm
