Theft
Police arrested three persons, Titan Singha (27), Badal Nath (28) and Papu Saikey (27) in connection with the theft of a Bolero vehicle (ML-04A-9344) from the campus of M/s Star Cement factory at Lumshnong (EJH).
On April 2, unknown miscreants stole electrical equipments from Reliance BTS Tower at Police Bazar, Shillong.
Praveen Singha lodged a complaint at Rynjah PS that on March 31 night, unknown miscreants stole eight batteries valued around Rs. 50,000 from Nongkhyriem, Nongthymmai, Shillong.
On the night of March 30, unknown miscreants stole one motorcycle (ML-05J-1943) belonging to Akbar Malang from Phodkylla village under Ranikor PS (SWKH).
Assault
On April 3 around 11 pm, one Amit Chakraborty assaulted Sanjeev Sen (26) at 4th Furlong, Polo, Shillong. Victim sustained injuries and was removed to Civil Hospital, Shillong.
Fraud
Dala K. Shullai lodged a complaint at Laban PS that on March 24 & 31, 2014, unknown miscreants fraudulently withdrew money from his Bank Account amounting to Rs. 76,329.
Lithika Vijay lodged a complaint at Rynjah PS that on September 17, 2012, one Surobhi Marak borrowed Rs. 50,000 from her and absconded.
