SHILLONG: In a freak case, a girl was abducted by a man only to cut her hair.
As per police reports, one Bijoy Bhusan Dey lodged a complaint at Shillong Sadar police station that on April 3, one Asif Swer forcibly took his seventeen-year-old daughter in a car from BC House, near Main Secretariat Building, here to Bivar Road and cut her hair.
The accused also threatened her with dire consequences.
