Arrest

Regarding the recovery of the body of Ranjit Marak (25) at Tamsura village under Rongmil OGC (EGH), Police arrested, Rakhsri A. Sangma, Paibar G. Momin, Misilbath G. Momin, Ombinson A. Sangma, Empebirth G. Momin and Tapos A. Sangma from Gabilbisa village under Rongjeng PS (EGH) and seized two country-made pistols from their possession.

Theft

Animesh Saikia lodged a complaint at Laitumkhrah PS that on April 4 around 9.30 am, unknown miscreants stole one TV and other household items from his house at Lummawrie, Laitumkhrah, Shillong.

Body recovered

On April 3 around 1:.30 pm, the body of Binush S Sangma (40) with injury marks was recovered from a jungle near Gangikona village (SWGH). Cadaver was sent to CH Tura.

Assault

Sengtibirth G Momin lodged a complaint at Kalaichar PP that on April 2 around 10:30 pm, unidentified miscreants armed with small arms and pistols went to his house at Digligre village (SWGH), assaulted him and his family members and looted Rs. 4,500 and one mobile phone.

Abduction

A woman of Phulbari (WGH) lodged a complaint at Tikrikilla PS that on April 1 around 12 noon, one Bablu Ali along with his accomplice in a motorcycle abducted her daughter (16) from Phulbari and took her towards Goalpara, Assam.
