Four FIRs against alleged fraudster

SHILLONG: In an alleged case of forgery, as many as four separate FIRs have been lodged against one Chinmoy Choudhury of Anand Hotel, Bye Pass, Bokaro, by some people who claimed that they had been duped by the accused.

An FIR lodged by Nilesh Tibrewalla stated that on March 29, 2014, one Chinmoy Choudhury of Anand Hotel, Bye Pass, Bokaro, who was dealing in share trading business in equity and F&O Market through M/s India Infoline Limited, convinced him to invest an amount of Rs.11,20,000 but till date the accused has not returned the money.

Another FIR was lodged by one Salil Gewali against Chinmoy Choudhury for duping him on two occasions. The complainant claimed that he had invested an amount of Rs.4,50,000 earlier and another Rs.3,50,000 on March 24, 2014, but till date he has not received his money.

Two other complaints were lodged by Parth Narayan Sharma and Vikash Goenka against the same Chinmoy Choudhury for duping them of Rs.6 lakh and Rs.3,75,000, respectively.
