SHILLONG: Ri Bhoi Police arrested one Uke Barka (55) for murdering his son and later burying the body in his garden at Umtham village.
The incident occurred on April 2 at about 8 pm, when the accused murdered his son Naresh Barka when the latter was caught red-handed while assaulting his aunt, Ri Bhoi SP CVS Reddy said.
Police took prompt steps to disinter the body after which a spot post-mortem examination was conducted.
