EAC Commanding-in-Chief satisfied with preparedness

SHILLONG: The two-day Commanders’ Conference of Eastern Air Command (EAC) concluded here on Friday and Air Marshal RK Jolly Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief Eastern Air Command, in his closing address, expressed his satisfaction on the operational preparedness and the flight safety record of all Operational Units under EAC.
He congratulated the Commanders on their sterling performance during the last financial year and exhorted them to continue to strive for excellence in all spheres of Operations, Maintenance and Administration.
He also gave away the Trophies to EAC Commanders in appreciation of the outstanding work done by them in various fields.
Earlier in the day, the Chief of the Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Arup Raha paid a visit to the Governor of Meghalaya Dr KK Paul and apprised him about the initiatives taken by the IAF in the State.
Meenakshi Jolly, President Air Force Wives Welfare Association (Regional) presided over a Meeting attended by its Executive Members and Presidents of AFWWA (Local) of Stations under Eastern Air Command.
