NPP complains against ‘mysterious beeping’

TURA: The National People’s Party (NPP) has lodged a written complaint with the Assistant Returning Officer (ARO), East Garo Hills with regard to the reported beeping sound that emanated from a strong room in Williamnagar where EVMs were stored.

Stating that the sound that was heard at around 4 am on April 11 resembled the beep made by an EVM during polling, the NPP district president of East Garo Hills, Marcuise N Marak demanded a thorough inquiry into the matter.
