Body found

On April 15 at around 12.30 pm, one unidentified dead body was found hanging from a tree near Presbyterian church, Nongkseh, Upper Shillong.

Assault

On April 13 afternoon, one Mohan Raj Munshi was assaulted by unidentified miscreants at Jibon Quarry Rajaju under Ranikor PS. As a result he sustained injuries and was shifted to Civil Hospital Shillong.

Theft cases

On the night of April 11, unknown miscreant stole ten meters of PVC wires valued around Rs. 300- from Rangsalkona Pump House in South West Garo Hills.

Fivestar L. Nongbsap lodged a complaint at Shillong Sadar PS that on March 22 at around 2.20 pm, unknown miscreants stole a bag containing documents and keys of PWD (Road) Office from his Maruti

On April 14 at around 2.30 am, unknown miscreants broke open the shop of Lovphidian Nongkynrih at Mawlonghat, Shillong, assaulted her and looted nine tolas gold, cash Rs. 1,60,000 and mobile phones.

Fraud cases

S. Majaw lodged a complaint at Rynjah PS that on April 11 at around 5.15 pm, Rahul Verma claiming to be an employee of SBI took the nineteen digits ATM Number from her. Later, the complainant found that an amount of Rs. 1,210 was withdrawn from her account.

A woman identified as F.N.R. Susngi lodged a complaint at Rynjah PS that unknown miscreants had fraudulently withdrawn Rs. 12,200 from her UBI account on Feb 20, 2014 and March 3,and 14, 2014.

One Willibroad Sawian lodged a complaint at Shillong Sadar police station that on October 24, 2013 John F. Rymbai borrowed Rs. 3,50,000- from him but failed to return the amount till date.

Money snatched

On April 10 evening, two unknown motorcycle borne miscreants snatched away Rs. 80,000 from Md. Shahalom Akond at Kalapani under Phulbari PS (WGH).
