Assault
On April 16 at around 10 pm, one Tapan Bora (40) was assaulted by unknown miscreants at Pynthorbah, Shillong. Victim sustained injuries and was removed to Civil Hospital Shillong.
lOn April 15 at around 9 am, one Gopal Lyngdoh (24) assaulted Elilius Ryundong (25) at 20th Mile GS Road (RB). Victim sustained injuries and was removed a hospital at Guwahati, Assam.
lOn April 15 at around 9 am, one Shreedhar Das alias Raju Das assaulted Sujit Koch with a dao at Hallidayganj (WGH). The victim sustained injuries and was referred to Civil Hospital Goalpara, Assam.
lHeipormi Susngi of Nangbah lodged a complaint at Jowai PS that on April 12 at around 6.00 am, one Nevermind Susngi was found lying unconscious with injuries at Iawmusiang, Jowai. He was shifted to CHC Ialong for medical treatment. He is suspected to have been assaulted by unknown person.
Threat
Pradip Kumar Modak lodged a complaint at Shillong Sadar PS that since last one year two persons Prafulla Modak and Mithun Modak have been threatening him with dire consequences. Police arrested both the accused.
lTrioba Susngi lodged a complaint at Jowai PS that on April 15 at around 9 am, his son Hamwis Thubru created trouble in their residence at Nangbah village (WJH). He also threatened the complainant and other family members with dire consequences. Police arrested the accused.
lG. Khongjee lodged a complaint at Rynjah PS that on April 15 at around 9.30 pm, one Ajay Jyrwa threatened her with dire consequences at Dong Shaneng, Umpling, Shillong.
lOn April 12, one Vishal Chettri along with others went to the apartment of F. Warjri at in Rynjah, Shillong and forcibly took all the household belongings and threatened her with dire consequences.
Body found
On April 16 at around 2 pm, the body of one Just Shabong (50) of Lummawlong Mawjrong village (EKH) was found at Diengkynthong, Mawjrong (EKH).
Theft
On April 16 at around 2 am, unknown miscreants stole one Bolero Pick-up (ML-10A-9929) belonging to Thrang Marwein from Nongpoh Proper (RB).
lDr. Biswasjyoti Dasgupta, Assistant Director, Census Operations, Meghalaya lodged a complaint at Laitumkhrah PS that in between April 13 to April 16 unknown miscreants stole two laptops from his residence at Lummawrie, Laitumkhrah, Shillong.
lOn April 16 at around 9.45 am, unknown miscreants broke into the shop of one Subhabrota Mukherjee at GS Road, Shillong. Details of property stolen are being listed.

Instigation
On April 16, Agnes Kharshiing, president, CSWO lodged an FIR at Umroi PIC that Christabell Wanniang, GS, CSWO-I instigated people which led to demolition of houses at Wahswat village (RB).
Attempted theft
On the night of April 16, unknown miscreants broke the window pane of Vishal Mega Mart, Jail Road, Shillong and attempted to commit theft.
Drowned
On April 15 at around 10 am, one minor boy Suresh Koch (13) was drowned in a river at Harigaon under Garobadha OP (WGH). Necessary formalities have been observed and matter is under enquiry.
Abduction
On April 15 at around 1 am, one teenage girl was abducted by Md. Hayrat Ali, Habibul Sk., Sohidur Rahman, Monirul Sk. and Tahera Banu from Bhogularbita under Phulbari PS (WGH).
Ransom demanded
Bok Sten lodged a complaint at Mawlasnai OP that on April 10, he received an SMS demanding Rs 5 lakh from him and threatened to kill his daughter if he failed to pay the ransom. In this connection, Police arrested one Thymmaibor Khonglad (21) from Motphran, Shillong.
