Murder

Premit T Sangma lodged a complaint at Ranikor police station that on April 3 at about 8 pm, unknown miscreants murdered Salman T. Sangma at Kulang village (SWKH).

Threat

On April 20 at around 9.45 am, Biplab Kumar Das received a call over mobile at Oakland, Shillong, in which the caller indecently abused and threatened him with dire consequences.

Arrests

On April 20 at about 9.30 pm, residents of Hopkinson Road, Laitumkhrah, apprehended one Lumlut Khyriem, who was moving in a suspicious manner in the area. Later, Police took him in custody.

lOn April 19 at about 9 pm, one Tyrnit Phawa threatened Iaineh Chyrmang with dire consequences and also damaged the window of her house at Kyndongtuber village (WJH). Police arrested the accused.

Abduction

On April 19 at around 5 pm, unknown miscreants abducted Rakesh Rathi and his uncle Omprakash Rathi while they were riding a motorcycle (AS-19D-6360) at Nengkhra Agalgre in East Garo Hills. The motorcycle was found abandoned on the road.

Theft

On April 17, unknown miscreants broke into the house of Fidalian Mylliemngap at Malki Pdeng Shnong, Shillong and stole cash Rs. 50,000.

lOn the night of April 16, unknown miscreants broke into a shop of Subhas Ch. Dey at Williamnagar Bazar (EGH) and stole garments valued around Rs. 15,850.

lOn the night of April 16, one unknown miscreant entered into the house of Hiramoni Balmiki at Kharmalki, Malki, stole Rs. 480 and attempted to molest her daughter-in-law.
