SHILLONG: In an accident case, one Bolero hit two minor school children at Laitkor on Friday afternoon
SP (Traffic) NK Syiem informed that the incident happened at about 3 pm at Laitkor Madan when one Bolero (ML 05F 4534) driven by Vijaya Kumar, a resident of DGAR hit two school students and ran away after the accident.
The two children, Yobeen Mawrie (10) and Ibalaris Mawrie (13) were injured and were shifted to Civil Hospital for treatment.
It may be mentioned that Vijaya Kumar is an Assam Rifles Driver.
Yobeen Mawrie is undergoing treatment at the hospital while Ibalaris Mawrie was discharged after being administered first aid.
