12th Edufest career fair gets going in city

SHILLONG: There was a steady stream of parents and students throughout the day to and from All Saint’s Hall on Tuesday, the first day of the 12th Edufest 2014.

This year’s Edufest in Shillong has got internationally well known institutions like the Frankfurt School of Management and Finance from Germany, Rangsit University from Thailand and a host of well known and popular Indian universities at the two-day exhibition.

The Rangsit University stall drew a large crowd as parents and students showed enthusiasm in wanting to know details about the prospects of Thailand as a study destination.

This year’s exhibition has also seen a lot of interesting non science programmes on display.

The D.Y. Patil Whistling Woods School of Media is considered India’s leading media school and they offer courses in both the under.
