12 BSF men injured in accident

SHILLONG: As many as 12 BSF personnel were injured when the bus they were travelling in capsized at Mawblei on Monday night.
According to police, the bus (WB-04D-1275) met with the accident at around 9 pm on Monday. The injured were shifted to Unit Hospital BSF in Umpling.
Some of the injured persons have been identified as  Gopal K. Dhar (50), Zevito Sangha (43), Lalrem Sangha (34), V. Tripeauti Rao (40), Amar Singh (44), Santosh Kumar (34), Akbar Ali (52), Satish Kumar (45) and Pragya Raj (34).
The ill fated vehicle carrying the BSF personnel of the 144 Bn was on its way to Shillong from Tripura.
