Six injured as classroom roof collapses

Rangiya: Six students were injured, three of them seriously, when the roof of a classroom collapsed in Assam’s Kamrup (Rural) district on Tuesday, the police said. The students were taking their lessons when the roof of their classroom at Chaygaon Secondary School collpased, injuring six. The three seriously injured students were shifted to Guwahati Medical Colleg Hospital. Some guardians of students alleged that they had complained about the condition of the classroom, but the school authorities did not pay any heed. (PTI)
