Motorcycle recovered
On May 22 around 12 am, Mawlai Police recovered one motorcycle (AS-01AW-6031) from the possession of one Damanbhalang L Lyngkhoi at Mawlai Nonglum, Shillong. The motorcycle was reported stolen from Umiam on May 21. Later, the motorcycle and the rider were handed over to Umiam PS.
Sexual abuse
Hemant Gandhi lodged a complaint at Rynjah PS that on May 20 between 3 pm to 4 pm, one fifteen-year-old boy sexually abused one four-year-old boy at Power Grid Complex, Lapalang, Shillong. Police arrested the accused and remanded him to Juvenile Home, Shillong.
Cyber crime
Lashmuni Ch. Marak lodged a complaint at Tura Women PS that on May 18 at about 9 pm, one Tengton B Marak, wrote her name on one semi nude photograph of an unidentified woman and uploaded it in Facebook.
Assault
On May 17 around 9 pm, four persons viz., Fullmoon Suchiang, Hopingstar Sayoo, Rimiyo Papiah and Rimiki Papiah assaulted Raphael Sayoo at Mulieh village (WJH). Victim sustained injuries and was admitted at CHC Ialong.
Missing case
Regarding missing report of Bittu Das (14), further report indicates that on May 12 around 5:30 pm, the missing person had called his mother informing her that he is working in Delhi and would return home after six months. However, his parents suspect that the boy had been kidnapped.
Rape case
Priyiancy Phawa lodged a complaint at Jowai PS that on Mar. 13, 2014, her brother Sunshine Phawa raped her daughter in her residence at Moodymmai village (WJH). Police arrested the accused.
