JHADC seeks clarification on headman row

SHILLONG: The Administrative Officer of the JHADC, while reacting to the complaint lodged by the AJYWO Central (G) Body, recently, against a Nepali resident who claimed himself to be the headman of Umthe Village, a colony that falls within the jurisdiction of the ELaka Sutnga, has sought a clarification from the Daloi of Elaka Sutnga on the matter. M H Dkhar, President, AJYWO:Jowai said that officer of the JHADC in her letter issued on May 30 has instructed the Daloi to furnish her a clarification based on the complaint within 15 days.
