Tagore club releases results of art, essay contest

SHILLONG: Rabindranath Tagore Club, Laban has released the winners of art and essay competition which was organized by the Club as part of 7th Inter Shillong Cultural Meet held on May 18.

In art completion under group A, Baibhabi Das and Surosri Dey secured first position, Rishit Das and Atthiti Roy, second and Amit Vikram Sharma and Mayurika Roy, third position.

In group B, Ayushi Choudhury and Aniket Chettri secured first, Saumik Modak and Rupsha Chakraborty second and Anisha Nath ( third)

In Group C, Barsha Das secured first, Srijanee Dutta second and Pratyusha Choudhury and Urvi Deb (third)

In Group D, Aman Bhowmick got first, Barnashika Sharma Choudhury (second) and Rajesh Das (third)

In Group E under special category Rohit Kotal became winner.

In essay writing competition under group C, first prize went to Diya Sinha and second to Eshita Dey.

In group D, the winners are Aman Bowmick (first),Pradeep Sharma (second) and Anamika Barua( third)

Song and Dance

The Club, will organize folk song and creative dance (filmy or non-filmy) competition as part of 7th inter shillong cultural meet, 2014 on June 1 at 10:00 am and 1:30 pm respectively in the auditorium of Laban Bengalee Boys’ Higher Secondary School.

The Club informed that spot entry is also allowed.
