Woman raped at gun-point in Thane

Thane: A 29-year-old woman was allegedly raped by a man at gun-point near Bhayandar railway station in Thane district, police said on Sunday. At least two persons were involved in the crime that took place on May 30 at a place opposite an ATM near the Bhayandar railway station between 2.30 pm and 5 pm, said sub-inspector Aparna Whatkar of Navghar police station. The woman had named one Deepak (full name not known) and another unidentified man in her complaint, police said. The unidentified person put the revolver on the woman’s head while Deepak allegedly raped her, they said. (PTI)
