lThe Inter -Shillong Cultural meet of Rabindranath Tagore Club, Laban ended on Sunday with colourful programmes. Altogether around 350 participants participated in the event.

Rally
The Meghalaya State Annual Ex Servicemen Rally was held at a function at Don Bosco Technical School Hall and nearly 1000 ex-servicemen, widows and dependents attended the rally.
Session
The Meghalaya Right to Information Movement will organize an interactive session on Meghalaya Lokayukta Act 2014 on Wednesday at the Don Bosco Youth Centre at 4 pm.
Prohibition
The KSU Mawkajem Unit has warned that if any one is found drinking or committing any other illegal activities along the Shillong Pynursula road in their vehicle, the Union would file an FIR against the owner of such vehicles.
Seminar
The Centre for Research in Rural and Industrial Development (CRRID), Chandigarh in collaboration with NEHU and the ICSSR-NERC is organizing an international conference on “India’s North-East and Asiatic South-East: Beyond Borders” at the Vice-Chancellor’s conference room, NEHU Administrative Complex, Shillong from June 6 to 7.
Environment month
Seven Set School will be organizing “Seven Set Environment month” along with the North East Educational and Development Society (NEEDS). The month long extravaganza which started on Monday, will feature cleaning drives, upcycling workshops, eco tours, Book fairs, photography, painting, ECO Games, Students’ symposium, poetry and singing besides many others.
Commitment day
The YCS/YSM Shillong unit celebrated its commitment day on Monday at Sacred Heart Theological College, Mawlai in the presence of Ronnie Wahlang, Executive Magistrate, as Chief Guest and Rev Fr VT Jose, Rector and Edward Thma, former NEXCO as Guest of honour. The theme was to explore Experience and exchange. Rev Fr George Malliyakal SDB was the main celebrant for the Eucharistic celebration.
