‘WB Guv expressed concern over attack on BJP workers’

Kolkata: BJP state President Rahul Sinha on Thursday said that West Bengal governor M K Narayanan has expressed concern over the attacks on BJP workers in Sandeshkahli area of North 24 parganas last month. “Today a team of state BJP unit had met governor M K Narayanan and had submitted a deputation to him about the law and order situation and violence on opposition parties. He had inquired about those who had been attacked and had expressed concern,” Sinha said after the meeting.

“He had also inquired about those who are in hospital. I think that he will report to President Pranab Mukherjee,” Sinha said. (PTI)
