Megh archer tops junior category

SHILLONG: Parvati Nair, an archer represented the Archery Association of Meghalaya, claimed first position and was declared Individual Champion in the compound bow division (junior category) of the 3rd TATA National Ranking Archery Tournament in Hyderabad from May 26 to June 2.

Nair, who was accompanied by coach Tshering Bhutia, finished ahead of Annu Tewari of Bihar, according to a press release from the AAM.

Nair also qualified for the senior events and is attending a national camp conducted by the Archery Association of India in Sonepat, Haryana.
