SHILLONG: Considering the fact that diabetes is a slow and a silent killer disease, the Medical Wing of Brahma Kumaris World Spiritual Organization has started a health movement throughout the country, not only to teach meditation to make people stress free but also educating people to create an awareness regarding healthy eating habits and positive life style to prevent such diseases.

In line with this, the organisation has invited all diabetic patients with their family and friends to actively participate in a two days camp of “Diabetes Awareness, Education & Prevention Programme” which is a part of Holistic Approach to Diabetes Management Programme being conducted by an Eminent Diabetologist Dr. Shrimant Kumar Sahu, Global Hospital, Mount Abu (Rajasthan) on June 21 and June 22 at Sri Aurobindo Institute of Indian Culture, Bivar Road.
