Army school excells in inter-school competition

SHILLONG: Students of Army school Happy Valley were the proud winners in the inter school essay and drawing competition organized by the Government of Meghalaya, office of the Deputy Commissioner, East Khasi Hills District – Disaster Management Authority.

The competition was held as part of state level awareness programme amongst the school children on Earthquake management, to commemorate the 117th anniversary of Shillong earthquake of June 12, 1897. Iarikynti Lyngdoh won the 2nd prize in the essay competition senior level. Shantanu Dhar bagged the 1st prize in painting competition junior level.
