TURA: Meghalaya Minister for Health, A L Hek on Tuesday formally inaugurated two newly established CHCs- the Alagre CHC in west Garo Hills and the Chokpot CHC in South Garo Hills in the presence of Chokpot MLA, Clifford R Marak.
While speaking during the inaugural function the Health Minister urged upon the general public to extend their helping hand and cooperation for all round development of their localities, the Health department and the State of Meghalaya in general. Two new ambulances donated by local MLA Clifford R Marak under MLALAD scheme, one each for the new CHCs were also launched by the Minister during the programme.
Among others present during the programme were DM&HO of South Garo Hills, Dr Sukriti D Sangma, ADM&HO, South Garo Hills, Dr Lily Sengme Ch Marak, DM&HO, West Garo Hills besides other dignitaries.
