Miners’ forum notifies on SPCB form submission norms

SHILLONG: The State Co- ordination Committee of Coal Owners, Miners & Dealers Forum in their Executive Committee, resolved to inform all stake holders in the State that in matters pertaining to submission of the required forms to the office of the State Pollution Control Board (SPCB) as directed by the NGT Court, they are hereby asked to submit as of now only the application form with enclosures of NOC from Rangbah Shnong with sketch map of their mines along with site plan and land documents of their respective coal mines, on or before July 8.
The Forum also resolved to request all coal mines owners and dealers not to pay attention or heed to either individuals or groups whoever they may be either of their status or position in the society who would try to persuade with their concealed motives to sympathize particularly the gullible coal mines owners and dealers in the far flung or rural areas of the State.
Should any grievances arises if any, all concern people are requested to approach either directly to the Forum or through its respective constituent units and not to fall trap to such phonies who for their selfish gain would assure all flimsy assurances that even heaven would fall down,” statement said.
