Ed Sheeran’s ‘X’ fastest selling album of 2014

Singer Ed Sheeran has reached a milestone with her second album “X” – it has sold more than 182,000 copies in the last seven days – to make it the fastest-selling album of 2014.
The 23 year-old entered the British charts on Sunday at No.1 with his 12-track album, reports contactmusic.com.
“X”, which was released June 20, clearly beat Coldplay’s hugely successful album “Ghost Stories” opening week score in May by 14,000 copies, the Official Chart Company reports.
“The A-Team” singer, who is currently performing at the Glastonbury Festival, took to Twitter to thank his 9.74 million followers for their support. “182k sold in the UK week one making it the fastest selling album of the year,” he tweeted. “I’m on cloud 9 and keep laughing at everything. Love you all,” he wrote. (IANS)

Colin Firth quits Paddington Bear movie

Colin Firth has revealed that he has chosen to remove himself from the upcoming ‘Paddington Bear’ movie.
The Oscar-winning actor, who amusingly borrowed the phrase from Gwyneth Paltrow, who famously coined it when she announced her separation from Chris Martin in March 2014, told Entertainment Weekly: “After a period of denial, we’ve chosen ‘conscious uncoupling.'” The actor said his decision to leave the movie was bittersweet but Firth felt his voice did not suit the role.
