SHILLONG: Many football lovers in and around   Rilbong and Laban had to face a lot of problems while watching the World Cup match between Costa Rica and Greece on Sunday night due to power failure.
Some people complained that the power supply was affected in the area as light was continuously going off and on.
The power problems did spoil the mood as it was an irritant in the football match that was played at 1:30am.
When contacted, MeECL informed that a tree branch fell on the feeder at Kench’s Trace due to the rain and windy weather and  it was temporarily repaired on Monday and it will be fully on Tuesday as a tree branch has to be cleared.
