AMPATI: Ampati Police Station is set to have its own new building with the inauguration of the new building by the Chief Minister Dr. Mukul Sangma on July 7.
The construction of the building, which had commenced on January 1, last year, was completed on the 3rd of this month.
Although Ampati Police station was formally inaugurated on December 8, 2007, it was functioning from a barrack building in which all other facilities, including Ampati PS, Ampati Fire & Emergency Station, MPRO and Battalion functioned.
