Condolence
The Assam Club Mahila Sangha on July 5, held a condolence meet on the Assam Club premises in the memory of Late Purabi Deka, former headmistress of Laban Assamese LP School and an active member of the Mahila Sangha. She breathed her last on July 3. The members observed a 1 minute silence.
Ceremony
The Prize Distribution Ceremony of Sarodiyo Competition, 2013 , which was organized during the Durga puja celebration will be held on July 20 in the Laban Bengalee Boys’ Higher Secondary School Auditorium, Laban, Shillong from 2:30 PM onwards.
