SHILLONG: The Office of the Deputy Commissioner, WKH District, Nongstoin has entered into an agreement with Jain’s IAS Study Circle, New Delhi under the Chief Minister Career Guidance and Counselling Programme to identify potential educated youths hailing from the district and prepare them for various competitive examinations conducted by UPSC, SSC, SSB, MPSC etc.
Two workshops-cum-seminar were held from July 7-8 at Mairang and Nongstoin respectively to generate awareness about the programme.
Interested candidates will have to appear for pre-admission tests which will be held at two centres — St Thomas Hr Secondary School, Mairang on July 10 and St Peters Hr Sec School, Nongstoin at July 12.
Selected candidates will be provided free coaching for the various competitive examinations.
All undergraduates, graduates and post graduates can attend the pre admission test.
