Youth body warns of action against SBI

SHILLONG: The All Achik Youth Federation has claimed that indifferent functioning of the State Bank of India, Baghmara branch has resulted in numerous problems for the people of the area.
Stating that residents of the area unable to draw their salaries, the Federation also alleged that the bank officials are rude while dealing with the customers and deny services under the pretext of the so-called “link failure”.
The Federation further claimed that the ATM service in Baghmara is also found wanting since most of the time there is no money in the machines.
The AAYF warned of action against SBI if steps are not taken to rectify the alleged shortcomings.
