Theft

On July 15 morning, unknown miscreants stole twenty-four batteries from a Vodafone Mobile Tower at Mawpat, Shillong.

Assault

One Bathem Kharbamon lodged a complaint at Laban PS, that on July 14, at around 1pm, two unidentified miscreants assaulted him and his friend at Shillong Peak, and took away his mobile phone, motorcycle (ML-05J-7662) and cash Rs 5,600.

Drowning case

On July 13, around noon, a minor boy identified as one Nehlang Lamare (13) drowned in the Yathang River at Tongkong village (WJH).

Rape

On July 13, at around 10:30pm, one Md. Safid Ali (35)allegedly raped a thirty-three year old woman at MIDC Area, Umiam (RB). Police have arrested the accused.

Arson

On July 15 night, unknown miscreants damaged the glass door of an ATM booth near SBI Evening Branch, GS Road, Police Bazar, Shillong.
