NONGSTOIN: Two persons identified as Biang Nongphlang and Senbor Kharkongor of Mawkhap village were arrested by the Mairang police on July 16 in connection with the murder against Krim Kharkongor of Umtyngar village of Mairang.
The incident took place at Umtangar village on July 15 where Biang Nongphlang and Krim Kharkongngor got drunk and had an argument, and later Nongphlang beat Kharkongor to death.
The police arrested Senbor Kharkongor on Wednesday and on the following day Biang Nongphlang surrendered in Mairang police station. The Police have registered the case where interrogation is still going on.
