New Delhi: Shillong M.P. Vincent H Pala on Thursday met Union External Affairs Minister Ms Sushma Swaraj and urged her to inaugurate the Passport Office in Shillong which is ready for operation.

The Meghalaya Government has already handed over a building to the Regional Passport Office, Guwahati, for setting up of a full-fledged passport office in the State. All formalities have also been completed and even officers have undergone necessary training, he said.
