Eid wishes

The Meghalaya Pradesh Congress Committee has extended its greetings and best wishes to the people of Meghalaya, especially the Muslim brethren on the auspicious occasion of ‘Id-ul-Fitre’. The party hoped that the festival would bring harmony, joy and peace to all sections of society.

The Central Puja Committee has extended warm Eid greetings to all Muslims and prayed that the festival brings prosperity, peace and happiness to all sections of people of the state.

The Blaze Sports Social and Cultural Association, Upper Mawprem  has conveyed its best wishes to the people of the state on the occasion of  Eid Ul Fitre.

Cultural programme

The Bangiya Sahitya Parishad, Shillong will celebrate the Partistha Divas of its wing on literacy deliberation “Karmashala” on Tuesday.  Renowned columnist Bijoya Kar Shome will deliver a speech   on the occasion.

Seminar

The Directorate of School Education and Literacy   will organize a state level students’ seminar on July 31 at the Meghalaya Bharat Scouts and Guides , Pine Mount Ridge at 10 am.

Inauguration

Chief Secretary, PBO Warjri will inaugurate the Eco Hatchery constructed under the Meghalaya State Aquaculture Mission on July 31 at Nongthymmai, Umsning at 3 pm.
