NONGPOH: With an aim to reach out to the people living within the Umling C& RD Block and strive for development of villages under the area, Rangbah Shnong of 30 villages constituted the Synjuk Ki Rangbah Shnong Umling C&RD Block on Tuesday.
During the meeting ad hoc members were also elected.
Talking to The Shillong Times Secretary of Synjuk Ki Rangbah Shnong Umling C&RD Block, Lui Lyngdoh said the main objective of the committee is to reach out to every person under the block and find out their problems besides concentrating on the development and welfare of the people of villages under the Umling Block.
“The Committee will also focus on different governmental schemes which should reach the people,” Lyngdoh said.
