Alliance Air to resume operations today

SHILLONG: Alliance Air is set to resume air services between Kolkata and Shillong, Lilabari and Tezpur airports from Saturday.

Following the intervention of the DoNER and the Civil Aviation Ministry, Alliance Air, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Air India Limited (AI) agreed to resume its operation in the region with a frequency of six days a week flights between Kolkata and Shillong, three days a week for the Kolkata-Guwahati-Tezpur circuit and vice versa and four days a week on the Kolkata-Guwahati- Lilabari sector and vice versa.

Alliance Air will also resume the Kolkata-Silchar flight service from August 10.
