ICAR training

SHILLONG: Horticulture Division, ICAR Research Complex for NEH Region, Umiam organized a training programme on Horticulture based diversified farming system for nutritional and livelihood security which kicked off on Friday under Tribal Sub-Plan.

During the training, the farmers will be trained on different components of horticulture based farming system which includes nursery management, crop production & multiplication, high tech horticulture etc.

On this occasion, Dominic Lyngdoh, Joint Director (Horticulture) stressed on the importance of imparting training on capacity skill building among the farmers.

The training was inaugurated by the Dr.N.S.Azad Thakur, I/c Director, ICAR Research complex, Umiam.
