Panel discussion held on reading habits

SHILLONG: A panel discussion held on Friday on “In Love with Books- Reviving the Reading Culture” organised by St Anthony’s College, Shillong in collaboration with the Directorate of Information and Public Relations (DIPR) stressed on the need to inculcate reading habits among people.

The panellists Toki Blah, Former IAS Officer and president, ICARE, Principal Secretary, Civil Defence & Home Guards, PS Thangkhiew, Associate Professor, EFLU, Shillong, Dr. T. K. Kharbamon and independent writer and researcher, Renee Lulam discussed about various issues related to reading habits with particular emphasis on book reading.
