On July 31 around 12 midnight, one auto-rickshaw (ML-10-9170) driven by Tarli Kharmawlong capsized at Wahkhlaw village under Mairang PS (WKH). The driver died on the spot.
On July 27, a motorcycle knocked down one Keorlin B Marak at Damalgre Bazar (WGH). Victim sustained injuries and was shifted to Civil Hospital Tura where she succumbed to her injuries.
On the evening of August 3 at around 7.30 pm, one motorcycle (ML-05H-3787) ridden by Sanjay Khar (19 yrs) knocked down Priyanka Sunar (17) at Barapathar, Shillong. Victim sustained injuries and was removed to Civil Hospital Shillong.
On August 4 at around 1 am, one Tata Sumo (AS-01AC-1669) driven by Osim Sinha fell into a deep gorge at Sumer village and in the incident, one occupant Abtar Hussain (22 yrs) died on the spot, while six others sustained injuries and were admitted at Civil Hospital, Shillong.
