Achievement

Sh. Willson Monsang has been awarded the Degree of Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) for his thesis entitled ‘Study of the effects of selected anti-diabetic plants on advanced glycation end-products (AGEs) and apoptotic pathways in mouse’. He did his Ph.D. from the Department of Biochemistry, North Eastern Hill University (NEHU) under the guidance of Prof. D. Syiem and co-guidance of Prof. R. Sharma. He is the son of Kothar Monsang and K Rosy Monsang of Monsang Pantha Village, Chandel, Manipur.
