NONGSTOIN: Village leaders of 50 villages of Rambrai- Jyrngam area along with the public on Thursday held a meeting at the office of the Syiem of Hima Rambrai to take a decision with regards to their demand for setting up of a new C&RD Block at Rambrai- Jyrngam.
The meeting was also attended by the local legislator cum MDC of Rambrai, K.P. Pangniang and Syiem of Hima Rambrai, H.S. Nonglang.
The meeting decided to press the State Government to set up a new C&RD Block at Rambrai.
The meeting also formed a committee known as Rambrai- Jyrngam C&RD Block Development Committee.
Pangniang suggested that as the State Government has divided the Rambrai- Jyrngam constituency, so it was equitable for the State Government to create a new C&RD Block for Rambrai.
