UMoMA sanctions 1108 schemes for minority people

Itanagar:  The Union Ministry of Minority Affairs has sanctioned over Rs 3103.711 lakhs for 1108 projects in 26 minority concentrated blocks in the state during the year 2013-14 informed Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Nabam Tuki.
Replying to a quarry raised by opposition leader Tamiyo Taga, the Chief Minister in a written reply informed that the 26 minority concentrated blocks were scattered in 11 districts identified by the Ministry of Minority Affairs on the basis of 2001 census data.
He said, out of total sanctioned fund of Rs 3103.711 lakh, Rs 1558.181 lakh has been released to the concerned deputy commissioner-cum-chairman, district level committee during 2013-14 and the balance amount of Rs 1545.53 lakh would be released during the financial year of 2014-15. (UNI)
