Nick Cannon confirms separation from wife Mariah Carey
Nick Cannon has confirmed that he and Mariah Carey have been living apart for a few months.
The couple, who have been married since 2008, have three-year-old twins together, Monroe and Moroccan, reported the Huffington Post. “There is trouble in paradise. We have been living in separate houses for a few months. My main focus is my kids,” he said. The 33-year-old ‘America’s Got Talent’ host however quashed the rumour that the problems in his marriage are due to infidelity. Rumours began to swirl this week after it was reported that Carey and Cannon are living separately. The report also included that Carey has allegedly suspected him of cheating and has hired security to keep watch on him during club appearances. (PTI)
Elvis Presley’s fiancee reveals singer’s final moments
Elvis Presley’s fiancee Ginger Alden, who has never spoken before about the ‘King of Rock and Roll’, has revealed how the legendary singer had promised her the ‘wedding of the century’ months before he died. A new memoir, written by Alden, also talks about the singer’s darker side, with him often displaying violent mood swings, reported Daily Mirror. “I know this sounds funny but when Elvis entered the room, I thought trumpets would sound. He looked so handsome,” she wrote. The couple first met at a fairground when Alden was still a child. But in 1976, she accompanied her sister, Terry, the reigning Miss Tennessee, to his home. And it was here that the romance with Alden quickly blossomed. In January, 1977, the singer eventually proposed to his girlfriend in the bathroom at Graceland. But by August 16, she found him dead at the age of 42. The memoir will be published on September 2. (PTI)
Spears ‘fed up’ of father’s control
Pop star Britney Spears is reportedly fed up of her father controlling her finances. The 32-year-old singer’s personal and professional affairs have been controlled by her dad Jamie Spears and Andrew Wallett since her breakdown in 2008. But she wants the conservatorship to come to an end so she is free to marry her boyfriend David Lucado, 28, reported Radar online. “She’s so sick of all the bodyguards. And she wants to be out from under her father’s thumb. Her relationship with David has never been stronger. She also wants the conservatorship to end so she can be free to marry him,” a source said.
