SHILLONG: Stephen Fabes, a British national who gave up his medical practice in London to begin a cycling journey around the world almost five years ago, arrived here to share his experience.
The audience at the Asian Confluence listened to Dr Fabes as he told his story of adventure, courage, endurance. Dr Fabes gave a multimedia presentation on his journey here on Saturday.
He has cycled through 52 countries and clocked up over 66,000 km – a distance of more than one and a half times around the planet.
This was the 7th of the Asian Confluence innovation series talks held in collaboration with the Meghalaya Institute of Governance.
