Miley Cyrus’ date wanted by US police

The young homeless man who accompanied Miley Cyrus to the MTV Video Music Awards has a warrant out for his arrest in Oregon. Jesse Helt, 22, was arrested on charges of criminal mischief, criminal trespass and burglary in 2010. According to court records, he broke into the apartment of a man who had been selling what Helt believed to be bad marijuana. Helt, who was 18 at the time, pleaded guilty to criminal mischief and criminal trespass, both misdemeanors, and was sentenced to 30 days in jail and probation. The arrest warrant was issued in November 2011 after he violated probation. Helt moved to Los Angeles and lived on the streets while trying to find work as a model. He gained worldwide attention Sunday when Cyrus let him accept her award for video of the year. Helt, who met Cyrus through the Hollywood homeless center My Friend’s Place, used the platform to call attention to the issue of youth homelessness. (AP)

‘Full House’ to return after almost two decades?

Popular TV show “Full House” is reportedly set to  return after its season eight finale aired almost 20 years ago. Full House, the hit ABC sitcom, ran from 1987 to 1995. A revival of the show has long been discussed, but it may just be around the corner with Warner Bros. TV is considering re-envisaging “Full House”. Also many members of the original cast are also rumoured to be reprising their roles, reports a website. The series, which starred actors such as John Stamos, Bob Saget and Dave Coulier, centered on a widower raising his three children in San Francisco with help from his family and friends.  “Full House” was cancelled in 1995 after eight seasons because the network decided the production was becoming too expensive. As a teenager, Taylor Swift misinterpreted feminism

Singer Taylor Swift says that as a teenager she misunderstood the meaning of feminism, but now she associates herself with it. She shared her views on the topic during during an interview, , reports a  website. “As a teenager, I didn’t understand that saying you’re a feminist is just saying that you hope women and men will have equal rights and equal opportunities,” she told The Guardian newspaper. “What it seemed to me, the way it was phrased in culture, society, was that you hate men. And now, I think a lot of girls have had a feminist awakening because they understand what the word means. “For so long it’s been made to seem like something where you’d picket against the opposite sex, whereas it’s not about that at all,” she added.
