Shallang trader goes missing in Goalpara

NONGSTOIN: One Kharsang Ch Sangma (41), a businessman from Rongchugre village under Shallang PS in West Khasi Hills District, has been reportedly missing since September 2 from Goalpara district of Assam.

Police source informed that Marak had gone to Goalpara on August 1 for getting his vehicle repaired and had been in constant touch with his wife over phone till September 2.

However, on the following day all his contact numbers was found to be out of reach and till date his whereabouts remain unknown.

The family members filed an FIR on Monday.

Following the complaint, an alert has been sounded across police stations both in Meghalaya and Assam to trace the whereabouts of the trader.
