NONGSTOIN: The FKJGP New Nongstoin Unit has shot off a memorandum to the Executive Engineer PWD (Roads) demanding immediate construction of roads and bridges and blacktopping of existing within New Nongstoin village.
The memorandum signed by its president Enbok Syiem and general secretary Shemphang Thongni, highlighted the need for construction of RCC bridges including New-Nongstoin to Nongstoin Market complex, from Mawbyrshem to Mawbyrshem Wahriat, Mawlarshong Main Road to Mawlarshong (Law-ap) and the RCC bridge from Spengthawlangmlah to Petrol Pump (Upper New-Nongstoin) through Tiehsaw village.
The FKJGP also demanded blacktopping of the road that connects Nondein with Mawbyrshem (Wahriat) through New-Nongstoin Nongstoin playground.
The FKJGP also demanded construction of the road from Bishop House near Spengthawlangmlah to the residence of the Deputy Commissioner, West Khasi Hills.
